Unboliviable

These photographs from the series “Unboliviable” I took in Bolivia speak about the solitude and the silence enjoyed deep inside.

In this series, I would like to create “dreamscapes” and emotional landscapes playing with light, colours, forms, lines, textures and composition, using an impressionistic approach; I strive to capture a silent and timeless world reflecting my emotional state.
I was really charmed by the surreal beauty of the Salar de Uyuni, standing and waiting for capture the changing light.

The coloured lagoons area is a peaceful and fascinating place; only the singing of flamingos breaks the silence of this unreal and phantasmagorical landscape. I have been hours contemplating this spectacular natural world, standing and waiting for capture the water reflections and the changing light. I was really hypnotized by the beautiful reflection of pink flamingos standing over the water. The changing colours and the glistening water of the lagoons enchanted me.

Crossing the Siloli desert I was able to enjoy the solitude and the silence. It is a fascinating landscape situated at an elevation of around 4,500 meters on the Bolivian Altiplano.

The Chalalan Lake, in the  Madidi National Park, with its spectacular rainforest is a magical place!
